The Leicester Riders Foundation is excited to host a Primary Schools Tournament at the Morningside Arena on Wednesday, January 10th, ahead of the Leicester Riders’ evening game against the Manchester Giants.
“We’re thrilled to offer both the schools we work with and new schools in the local area the chance to compete in the tournament and experience a Riders game day. Our team has been working hard in schools across Leicestershire this season, and we look forward to bringing everyone together to celebrate that effort,” said Greg Ellis, Interim Head of Education & School Sport.
The tournament will take place throughout the afternoon, with the final being held on center court during halftime of the Riders game. This gives students a fantastic opportunity to not only experience a Riders game day but also to apply what they’ve learned in the sessions we’ve conducted at their schools.
